Library Board Committee Hearing & Meeting

The BPL Board of Control’s Budget Committee will host a public hearing to hear comments or concerns regarding the Library’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2024. This hearing will take place at 205 S Washington St in DeRidder, La. Immediately following the hearing, the Committee will hold a public meeting to discuss, amend, and/or approve the budget. Pursuant to the “Sunshine Laws” (LA R.S. 42:14 et seq), meetings of this board are open to the public unless “Executive Session” is noted on the agenda.
A Public Notice was published in Beauregard News on Nov 10, 2023 and a copy of the proposal has been and continues to be available for viewing upon request at the DeRidder branch (205 S Washington St in DeRidder, La) during all open hours between Nov 7 and the public hearing.
An audio recording of this hearing / meeting will be made available on our website within 1 week of the meeting.
