Makers logo - For ages 6 - 12

Join us for a new series of programs designed for school-aged children with crafts, experiments, art, and more at your library!

Beauregard Parish Library staff recognize how important the core fundamentals of S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) are for children, especially at a young age. This is why we’ve worked hard to develop this new program for your children!

Twice monthly at our DeRidder branch we will have a S.T.R.E.A.M. activity prepared for children! Each event will engage children, ignite their curiosity, and foster a love of learning and a hunger for knowledge. And they get to bring a craft, work of art, or experiment home with them at the end!

For more information, please call and speak with a Programming team member or email us at! We look forward to having you there.

Our Makers events will occur twice monthly – on the first and third Thursdays, 4-5 PM – at our DeRidder branch. Look for us in the meeting room, entrance to the left of the lobby or through our Children’s Library door.

This program is for children ages 6-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
