Our Makers programs, designed for school-aged children, all have a S.T.R.E.A.M. theme and work to engage your children and foster an interest in the core subjects of Science, Technology, Robotics/Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Maths. We aim to teach all children that learning can be fun, even if it’s sometimes difficult! In each event, your kids will be making a craft, art piece, or experiment to take home!
This month we’ll be learning about circuits! Did you know you can create a light circuit using copper, tape, a single battery, and a little-emitting diode? Come to our Makers program to learn how and to create your own illuminating wand!
Remember: Library programs are always free!
In attending Library programs, patrons agree to our Film and Photography Policy and our Social Media Policies. You can review all of our policies here. If you do not wish to be filmed, please tell a staff member at the start of the program.
This program is for children ages 6-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
