Honey Bee Presentation

Head on over to the DeRidder Branch for a special presentation on Honey Bees!
August 19th is National Honey Bee Day, and we’re celebrating by having beekeepers come into the library. They will teach us about bees, why they are important to nature, and how guests can learn to be bee-friendly! They will also teach us the ins and outs of beekeeping, including possibly bringing one their beekeeping outfits to show off.
Come out and help us celebrate these life-giving creatures! Maybe you’ll even “bee” inspired to try out beekeeping?
