Are you exhausted from school testing? Come hang out at the library to decompress!
The DeRidder branch has a teen program every Thursday as well as an all-ages Cinema Saturday (second Saturday of every month).
For the month of May, we’ll be watching Black Clover for Anime Club. No need to be a “member” of this club, you just have to be at least 13 and have an interest in anime!
In Science Club we’re making designs with melty beads and fusing them together using an iron – which Mrs. Amanda will be handing (also, no need to be a “member”).
At Teen DIY, we’ll be putting food coloring in shaving cream and making marbled bookmarks. Teen DIY is not only at our DeRidder branch, but also at each of our rural branches so make sure to check our calendar for those dates!
If you’re really in need of some fun and a little friendly competition, join us on the last Thursday of the month for Game Night, where we will be battling it out with Mario Party! There are usually some pretty cool prizes during Game Night, too.
And last but not least, we have Cinema Saturday on the second Saturday of every month at 9:30am. We’ll be watching Luca in May!
Snacks and refreshments are available during all of these programs.
