Staff Picks

With Staff Picks, we would like to offer recommendations from our staff to you. These picks will be from a variety of reading, listening or viewing tastes. You might find stuff you've checked out before, or you might be intrigued enough to discover a new favorite.

Thin Ice by Irene Hannon

After losing her parents in a car accident and her sister to a house fire, Christy Reed has been mired in grief. Life is finally starting to feel normal again when an envelope arrives in the mail addressed in her sister's handwriting. And the note inside claims she is still alive.

The author pulls out all stops as this high-stakes thriller chills to the bone in a race to the finish. I have read other works by this author and I find her a talented writer. I prefer Inspirational reads. Thin Ice is a touch of romance, suspense and inspiration in one book. If you like light suspense and don't mind a little romance, you too may want to read Thin Ice.

If this Thin Ice interests you, feel free to request or check it out. We'll be back next Wednesday with a different Staff Pick.
