Wednesday 10/25/2006 - Announcement from Glean Mears:

The National Weather Service has upgraded and revised how much rain will occur through late Thursday night/early Friday.

Widespread areas of 2 to 3 inches of rain are now forecasted across southeast Texas and western Louisiana - basically the same locations that saw all the heavy rain last week. Localized areas could see as much as six inches of rain.

This will result in localized areas of flash flooding again, as well as significant rises in area creeks and bayous. The larger rivers like the Neches, Sabine, and Calcasieu could see major floods again - perhaps not as high as last week, but they will rise later this week into this weekend."
