The Beauregard Parish Library working with various community service
agencies and local government has opened 6 Library Branches in rural

Library Locations
- DeRidder (Main Branch and Administration Headquarters) - 205 South
Washington Avenue (across from City Hall) in DeRidder, LA
- East Beauregard - 7580 Hwy 26 at the Wye in Dry Creek, LA
- Fields - 13487 Hwy 389 at the Fields Volunteer Fire Department in
Fields, LA
- Merryville - 1007 Hwy 110 (across from City Hall)
in Merryville, LA
- South Beauregard - 6715 Hwy 12 at the Ragley Museum Project in Ragley, LA
- Singer - 9130 Hwy 27 next to Singer One Stop, in Singer, LA
The Community Book Center Program provides reading material in
institutional and community service buildings throughout
the parish. Small racks of recreational reading material for adults
and children are also placed in rural areas to serve the public during
the hours the library brances are not open.
Note: The CBC program also maintains a family literacy project collection at
the Happy Day Headstart School in DeRidder, institutional collection
at the Beauregard Parish Jail and various other local shelters and
nursing homes.

- Health Unit visits to rural branches. Check the library
calendar or call for scheduled visits.
- Teleconference equipment at DeRidder and West Beau (Merryville) for
community and professional education.
- Public computer with Internet access in each rural branch.
- Free 24/7 wireless access in and near all library branches.
- Evening and Saturday hours (Thursday night til 7:30 & Saturday
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Use the Library where you work or shop.
Calcasieu, Vernon, Allen, Jeff Davis & Cameron Parish Libraries
will honor your Beauregard Parish Library card through an agreement
between Libraries SouthWest Member Libraries.
