Resume Templates
Templates are word processing documents you can change and
save. When you find a resume that seems to fit your needs,
open it with your word processor, make changes and then
save it as your own resume.
Resume Templates
-
Resume Templates from Open Office These will open in Open Office but
may not open in Microsoft Word Processors.
-
Resumes from CollegeGrad.com are organized by college major. Multiple
formats are available. The Microsoft Word XP format will work with
Open Office and with many Windows Word Processors. If it does not work,
try the Rich Text Format.

extensive information and advice about resume writing. The site includes
many templates and samples. The templates work in Open Office and
Microsoft.

These are designed to be opened only on currently supported Microsoft
operating systems.
Help with Word Processors
Whether you use a template or type your resume from "scratch", you
will need to use a word processor.
- If you are in a Beauregard Parish Library Lab, your word processor
is Open Office. Open Office and Microsoft Office work much alike.
- If you are using your own computer, you may have another word processor.
If you need a word processor,
Open Office works on Windows, Linux and Mac computers. It is available
free from http://openoffice.org
- http://gcflearnfree.org offers
free tutorials if you need help with the Open Office, Microsoft Word,
or Microsoft Office Word
Processors. Log on or create a new free account. Select "Computer"
and then select the course of your choice.
