Meet Linda Harper:

Linda is the branch clerk for East Beauregard. Here is a quick profile of Linda in her own words.

• I grew up here in DeRidder after my father retired from the Army. Both my parents are from pioneer families, the Shirleys and the Powers.
• I married my high school sweetheart, Ernest, and we have four children—David, Sharon, Daniel and Patti—and five grandchil, Ashley, Amanda, Cade, Timothy and Melanie, and a great granddaughter, Carmandee Paige.
• My interests are church, spending time with my children and grandchildren, hunting, fishing and camping.
• I read romance, light mysteries and biographies.
• I love working at the library, and the people are the greatest co-workers. The patrons in the East Beauregard area have made the branch the best place to work.
