The Bubblegum Beat

Ready for more fun bouncy music? Freegal Music has more Bubblegum music for you. Use your 5 free downloads and your 3 free hours of daily commercial-free streaming music to enjoy Bubblegum or any style of music.

  • Do you remember The Brady Bunch? Of course you do. The first season's theme song was sung by The Peppermint Trolley Company. They had other songs like: “Little Miss Sunshine” and many others from Beautiful Sun.

  • Do you remember a cartoon called The Archies? Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Betty. Freegal has their music. I’m sure you have heard “Sugar Sugar”. How about “Melody Hill”, “Everything’s Archie”, “Bang-Shang-A-Lang”, “Sugar and Spice”, “Sunshine”, “Feelin’ So Good (Skooby Doo)”, “Jingle Jangle”, “Bicycles, Roller Skates, and You”, and “Inside Out”.

  • Another Bubblegum group, The Ohio Express had much success (although some of their music was deeper than Bubblegum). Hear are some of their hits: “Yummy, Yummy, Yummy (I Got Love in My Tummy)”, “Chewy, Chewy”, and the melancholy “She’s Not Comming Home”.

  • Another group, The 1910 Fruitgum Company had such hits as: “Simon Says”, “May I Take a Giant Step”, and “1,2, 3 Redlight” found on The Best of the 1910 Fruitgum Co.

  • And last, teen star Bobby Sherman with hits like: “Easy Come, Easy Go”, “ Julie Do Ya Love Me”, “Seattle”, “Cried Like a Baby”, and “The Drum”.
