Free Christmas Music

Christmas is coming! Time to start collecting Holiday music. It's easy with Freegal, the free music website brought to you courtesy of the Beauregard Parish Library. • John Schneider-You may remember John Schneider from his days playing Bo Duke on the TV show The Dukes of Hazzard (the library has the 5th season) or maybe you may know him from his role as the earthly father of Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman) on the hit TV show Smallville (the library has all 10 seasons). Or perhaps you know John from his roles in Christian movies such as WWJD What Would Jesus Do? (yes, the library owns a copy). But you may not know how well he sings. He had some hits on the country music stations in the 80’s and Freegal has his Christmas album White Christmas from back in the day. Enjoy John Schneider’s smooth vocal style on songs like the title song “White Christmas”, “O Little Town of Bethlehem”, and “Silent Night”. Or the lighthearted “Winter Wonderland” or “Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer”.
    • Tom Wopat, John’s Dukes of Hazzard co-star has a Christmas song on Freegal, “Away in a Manger”
    • Kelsea Ballerini, another Country Music Star sings “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”
    • Heart Christmas Single 2013- “Please Come Hone for Christmas” Ann Wilson and Aaron Neville
    • Sonny Bono & Little Tootsie’s cute song “Comin’ Down the Chimney”
    • Santa’s Gnomes-in elf voices- “Christmas Land” and “Christmas Magic”
    • Garry Ferrier’s peppy song “Ringo Deer”
    • Seymour Swine & The Sqeelers-”Blue Christmas” in a Porky Pig rendition

Have fun exploring your own style of music. And remember it's all free!
