Glen Campbell Dies at 81

Musician and singer Glen Campbell died Aug. 8 at 81 years old. He had been battling Alzheimer’s Disease for years. Besides all his hit songs, Glen was well known for his guitar playing. He worked in many studios and can be heard on songs of The Monkees, Elvis, and other famous singers. He also had his own show called the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour. He also acted and was in the famous movie True Grit with John Wayne (which the library owns).
