We have just finished celebrating National Library Week with several fun events showcasing all the exciting things the library has to offer. In that spirit, check out a new installment in the Library Lover’s Mystery Series, which was added to the collection this week.
Better Late Than Never by Jenn McKinley. In this cozy mystery, the Briar Creek Public Library is having its first overdue book amnesty day – no fines for late materials. The response is overwhelming. But one late book catches the attention of library director Lindsey Norris. It is a copy of The Catcher in the Rye, which is twenty years overdue. When Lindsey looks up the borrower, she is shocked to discover that it was a teacher who was murdered on the very day she checked the book out. Her murderer was never found and Lindsey wonders if the book, and its return could provide a clue to the old case. No one noticed who returned the book, but Lindsey is determined to catch the killer and provide long overdue justice for the victim.
Our new copy of this book is a Large Print edition, perfect for those who prefer bigger print. However, we also own this title in a regular print hardback, an eBook, and an eAudio.
