Madea on the Run: The Play. Tyler Perry’s popular Madea is back. This time she is in trouble with the local authorities and must find a place to hide. Her friend Bam is recovering from surgery, so she takes the opportunity to move in with her. Bam has no idea that she is running from the law and is grateful for her help. Madea soon discovers that it is Bam’s rambunctious family is in desperate need of the type of help only Madea can give. This is a stage play and is not rated.
Inferno. Based on the best-selling book by Dan Brown, this thriller stars Tom Hanks once again as Professor Robert Langdon. This time he wakes up in an Italian hospital with no memory of how he got there. What’s more, he discovers that he is the target of a massive manhunt. He teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor who he hopes can help him regain his memory. Together they race across Europe in order to stop a virus that could wipe out half of the world’s population. This movie is rated PG-13.
Sherlock: Season Four. Fans of this popular BBC series have waited a long time for the new season. It is now here and finds Sherlock Holmes and John Watson dealing with three new mysteries. John is adjusting to his new role as a husband and father, while Sherlock is dealing with the possibility that his nemesis Moriarty has returned from the grave. As with the other seasons, there are three episodes, entitled The Six Thatchers, The Lying Detective, and The Final Problem. The series was aired on PBS and is not rated.
