“Beautiful Star of Bethlehem”- a song about the Christmas star shining for the Wise Men and beckoning it to keep shining for everyone forever. Sung by Patty Loveless from Bluegrass and White Snow. Or try her instrumental version of “Carol of the Bells”.

Or sing along to the clear words of “Carol of the Bells” with Hugo Winterhalter & His Orchestra on Santa’s Vintage Xmas & Holiday Playlist.

Ira Ironstrings’ “Jingle Bells Stomp” in a 1920’s style you could use to dance the Charleston- from Christmas Songs You Remember.

A mellow “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” from the brother and sister team of The Carpenters on Treasured Christmas Favorites.

The fun “Little Saint Nick” from The Beach Boys on Christmas Doo Wop & Pop Vol.3.

“Jingle Bell Rock” sung by Brenda Lee found on Blue Christmas or sung by Bobby Helms from Sing-Along with the Very Best of Christmas Music.

“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” sung by Brenda Lee on The Best Christmas Carols for the Whole Family, or sung by Davy Jones on Bubblegum Rock: Pop Songs from Yesteryear.

“Christmas Times A Coming”- a song with a country feel sung by Jerry Reed found on The 100 Best Christmas Songs of All Time.

Then there is a Rockin’ rendition of “Frosty the Snowman” sung by Jan & Dean that will have your head bobbing and your body dancing found on Christmas Cheer! Kids Holiday Music.

And Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad”, the bilingual new classic that tells you "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" in Spanish, found on Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree: 30 Essential Golden Oldies.

For the Star Wars Fans: hear the robot R2D2’s electronic sounds and his fellow robot C3PO’s voice with “R2D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas” sung by the original Star Wars Cast from Christmas Cheer: Kids Holiday Music.

“Santa and the Purple People Eater”-that’s the one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater who as “Santa’s little helper” pushes the flying spacecraft Sputnik off-course before it can crash into Santa’s sleigh. Sung by Sheb Wooley and found on The Purple Collection.

You may enjoy the synthesized songs from Mannheim Steamroller such as “Deck the Halls” from the album Christmas or “Carol of the Bells” from Christmas Celebration. Or you may prefer the updated versions from their other Christmas albums.

“Humbug” a cute instrumental that sounds as though you are enjoying a sleigh ride by Greg Lake with a chorus of the word humbug from the album Sing-Along with the Very Best of Christmas Music.

Or perhaps you might like the carols of The Canadian Brass on Christmas Tradition.

Or even the slightly Hawaiian sounds of the ukulele on Ukulele Christmas with songs “Jingle Bells”, “Jingle Bell Rock”, and “Joy to the World”.
