Today, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 4:00 pm, visit the DeRidder branch and see WWII souvenirs while hearing Mr. Neal Bertrand discuss his father's experiences in the South Pacific.
From Neal Bertrand:My father returned home from WWII in the South Pacific with over 400 pictures he took. Using these photos and his battalion's official daily journal, I created a timeline and traced his steps month by month from home to war and back. Plus, there are 80 pictures of WWII war planes and nose art, plus dozens of New Guinea natives.
