During Phase 2, the Beauregard Parish Library is open with limited hours and limited services. Additional details can be seen here. Within those limitations, further closures may become necessary on short notice due to staff shortages. We will update our social media accounts in those instances. Patrons are also welcome to call 337-463-6217 x 0 during the DeRidder branch's open hours for the most recent updates on branch openings. Computer use is limited and by appointment only. Patrons can schedule appointments online here or by calling 337-463-6217 or in-person by asking a library clerk. Appointments are set at 45-minute intervals. No consecutive appointments for 1 person.

Some of our patrons may not know that Beauregard Parish library is home to an extensive grantsmanship collection. We have a physical collection in DeRidder, online grants information through our Grants page, and we have a grants coordinator on staff five days a week, including Saturdays.
The story of our involvement with grants and the Foundation center is detailed on our Grants page:
The Beauregard Parish Library has been host to grantsmanship material through the Foundation Center (based in New York) since 1991-the fourth in the state--serving Southwest Louisiana with print and electronic formats. Ask for directions to the Grants Room (for non-circulating material) or the sections for circulating material.
We are eager to assist our patrons with their grant-related needs, and we invite you to come and use our collection.
