Our Beauregard Book of the Week for October 9, 2013 is Linnea in Monet's Garden
Linnea in Monet's Garden(by Christina Bjork & Lena Anderson) is an enlarged, keepsake edition. This 2012 publication comes 25 years after the original work--celebrating Claude Monet as an impressionist and gardener. One learns about the life of Monet through the eyes of the young traveler, Linnea, along with her neighbor as they visit Paris, basically "in Monet's footsteps”.
This is a lovely book for art lovers and those embarking upon the discovery of Monet.
