“Staff Meet & Greet” is a weekly series where you’ll get to know the people behind the scenes at your Beauregard Parish Library.
Hi, I'm Patricia. I am the circulation and reference supervisor for the DeRidder branch. My duties include being on the "front lines" and supervising special collections such as literacy and grants. I come from a big family and then married into a big family. I love the simple life and my reading pleasures range from the escape literature of a paperback romance to Elizabeth Barrett Browning's "Sonnets from the Portuguese" to Pearl Cleage's "What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day" as well as the works of a home-grown-rural-poet from North Louisiana, Ephriam Tyler.
Research and cleaning are major forces exercised in my life--both private and professional. Motherhood to two continues to be a pleasant experience/joy. This journey of lifelong learning keeps me going!
